I believe we can all find some experiences in life difficult and
that taking the first steps towards counselling or therapy can be
tough. I will help make the process less daunting and work through
any issues you may be experiencing. I see clients face to face in
private and confidential rooms, or provide walking therapy ,
telephone counselling and online counselling (via Zoom) sessions
are also available.
My name is Cherry Baguneid and I am a psychotherapist/counsellor
who work’s in a person-centred way, offering and holding a safe,
non-judgemental space for you to explore what is going on in your
world. I offer individual or group counselling and I can see
clients either weekly or fortnightly. The issues I can help you
with range from anxiety, depression, loss, relationship, family or
work issues, domestic violence/sexual abuse and general life
difficulties. I have specialised in dealing with clients who are
experiencing long term and/or life-limiting diseases, those caring
for their loved-one’s and also with clients who are struggling
with coming to terms with bereavement. I have facilitated
bereavement groups for several years.
The GDPR replaces the 1998 Data Protection Act to ensure your
personal and sensitve, confidential data is kept private and
held securely, being processed in the way that you have agreed
to. It is there to protect your rights as a consumer of a
service or product that might involve your identifable data.

A counselling contract clearly sets out the boundaries and
limitations of the counselling relationship. My own terms and
conditions can be read in the contract below. It can be

Fees and Availability
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon’s 3pm – 7pm
Friday and Saturday 9 am – 6pm
There is no charge for the initial session which lasts 30 minutes.
This gives us the opportunity to discuss what you feel you need
from your therapy and for us to see if we could work together. If
you decide you would like to work with me, I charge £50.00 for
each 50 minute session. A concessionary rate can be negotiated if
you are unwaged (students or unemployed).
